Emergency Measures For Burns By UV Disinfection Lamps
Sep 06, 2021
The safety awareness of young children is weak. If they are accidentally burned by the disinfection lamp, teachers can take the following emergency measures:
1. If a child accidentally hurts his eyes, it is generally not a major problem, just like being burned by the sun, serious eye drops or human milk can be used to help recover.
2. If the child’s eyes have just been burned by the disinfection lamp, immediately let the child lie down, close his eyes, and apply a cold compress to the eyes with a cold water towel. This method can reduce the eye congestion of the child, and has a rapid pain relief effect. The cold effect lasts until the child's eye pain is relieved. Teachers should promptly change cold towels for children to ensure the effect of cold compresses. If you can find 1% decaine eye drops, use it to drop your eyes to receive immediate pain relief.
3. If the child’s skin burns, the teacher can immediately apply tea oil or general skin care products to the child’s affected area. If it is not a severe burn, it can be recovered within a few days. If the burn is severe, you can gently apply general skin care products to the child every day for 3 to 4 days, but do not scrub the burned area vigorously. After a week, the burned area will automatically shed its skin.
